JR: What kind of evidence could old Cliff Barnes possibly have
had to connect me with that counter-revolution?

Bobby: JR, he has plenty.

JR: Well I mean, what specifically?

Bobby: I can't reveal that - it's classified senate information

JR: Bobby, are you telling me you can't reveal to your
own brother the packet of lies that he's trying to sell to the senate?
Well, what kind of loyalty is that?

Bobby: I have loyalty to the peope who elected me.

JR: Oh, come on now Bobby, this is the real world - it's not
a nineteen-forties movie

Bobby:Are you telling me you had nothing to do whatsoever
with that counter-revolution?

JR: Well, I did benefit from it, of course - but so did a
whole bunch of old Dallas boys. But I didn't make it happen.

Bobby:I don't believe you, JR

JR: the rest of the senate committee did.

Bobby: Wrong! It's just that the Ewing name still carries
a lot of weight in some circles and that's all

JR: Bobby, if you wanna (want to) believe that instead of your brother's innocence, that's fine by me there's not a damn thing I can do about it

Bobby: JR, the investigation has only been tabled - the committee can open it up at any time and if that happens everything that Daddy's built will be destroyed

JR: Nothing is gonna (going to) happen, Bobby, believe me, nothing
gonna happen.
